Life Is Sprouting

I went to the bookstore the other day to get these two books on co-parenting after divorce. I figured that I could save on shipping. But they didn't have them in stock so I ended up ordering them. I don't know about you but I can't get out of a bookstore in a) less than an hour and b) without purchasing something.
I treated myself to a book on container gardening since I'll be packing away my organic gardening guides and plant encyclopedias for when I own a yard again. This way I can focus on a few small areas and really pack the deck with flowers. I also got Tom a survival guide for bonsai trees since this is his latest hobby. I'm nice like that. Someday I will make someone a wonderful wife.

Pete and I have had a lot of success with container gardening. Everything from veggies & herbs to flowers. We plan on doing it again this year even though we signed up for a share in one of the local farms. Our philosophy is, you can never have enough tomatoes. Have fun!

I can never leave the bookstore without buying something, at least a coffee from their cafe. That is really nice of you to buy Tom a book! You could have signed it saying something to the effect of, "The last damn thing I will ever buy you."

I just bought all of my deck flowers last weekend - although they were all out of herbs. We looked into buying a co-op produce share, but you got way too much for two people. Does it say anything in your book about container gardening grape tomatoes - cause that's what I'd like to do! Erica, did you do this? (And, this may sound snarky, but you already made someone a wonderful wife! Want to be mine? I love getting books as presents! Which reminds me, I have something to send you...)
