I did it! I bought a townhouse. Yesterday I made my final selections and signed the purchase & sales agreement. I am so excited to see all my colors and choices installed. I also can't wait to move in and get settled.
Our house is ready for people to see. We actually have a showing this evening which I hope is a good sign since it just went on the market. It's too bad it took moving to get everything done and cleaned up because the house looks so nice.
I have a new home for my bees too. A friend at work is going to let me setup in her and her husband's apiary. Not only will I still have a nice location for them but I will also have an onsight experienced beekeeper for help. Maybe I'll finally get some honey.
Now I am back on the hunt for daycare for Keegan. I wish I could keep him at the same place but it wouldn't make sense to drive south 45 minutes so I can drive right back up north again to work. I have some referrals and have set up appointments to visit. Atleast this time I feel confident about what I am looking for. Poor kid is going to move daycares, split into two different houses and split into two separate parents all at once. Divorce sucks.

Finishing this dish with lime zest and juice brightens its rich flavors.

Well, despite how bittersweet it is, congrats on finding a townhouse!
You're right, divorce does suck. But I am happy you are so excited about the new place, and I know that Keegan will adjust to all the newness.
Yay for the townhouse...
Yay for the bees (I was wondering about them!)...
And Keegan will adjust... he's young enough now that it will all seem normal for him.
Congratulations on the new place! Even though the circumstances aren't the ideal, a new/fresh start is exciting.
That is so good about the bees. I was wondering if you were still doing that.
I imagine it will be hard adjusting but I think it's better to do it now then when he's older and will remember it more. Congrats on the townhouse purchase! I would love to see pics someday!
Happy Congratulations!!! How exciting! Yay for you!! : )
Congrats on everything going so well. The new house will be good for you. Keegan is strong like his mother and I'm sure he'll adapt quickly.
