Counters, Cabinets & Carpets, Oh My!

Yesterday I spent three hours picking out all of the options for the townhouse. I am actually not done but my brain was mush and it hurt to think anymore. Every time we made a choice and I thought it was over there was one more question. Great tile, now what color grout? Okay you picked the cabinets, wood, stain and trim, now what kind of pulls? Yipes. Let me assure you that I loved it. I have never had the opportunity to design on that level before. I can't wait to see it all in place. Am I the only one who picks carpet based on how comfortable it will be for kids to play on?
Today two of my mom friends are meeting me for lunch and tomorrow I am taking the day off to pick up around the house, pack some things for storage and take a bunch of stuff to donate. Tom is going to do some touchup painting and then we have a cleaning service coming by to give us quotes. Should be interesting based on the slacking off we have done on household stuff over the past year. I'd much rather play with Keegan than scrub the shower.
