Mommy & Baby Ride Again

Yay day off! Day off!! I know that I haven't even been working for a whole month but I can still celebrate. Yay day off!
This morning Keegan and I are going to hang out with our mom's group and catch up with all his buddies. After that we are heading down to Lowell to pester Erika. I got to sleep in to 7:45 this morning (which I never used to consider "sleeping in"). The little guy slept until 4:00 am in his own bed so that was nice too.
The ironic thing is that most of the veterans I know don't even get today off. So if you are off or not off take a minute or two to be thankful for their sacrifices and those of their families.

~a couple of the techs who work for the technology company i work for got a few 'presents' from me this morning, two of them are vets, young, they got breakfast, coffee, a couple of the magnetic ribbons that say "Support Our Troops" for their cars and I am taking them both to lunch...~

I got to *sleep in* until 7:33. Was annoyed when my back up clock went off at 5:00am. I think my husband, who has to work, did that to me!

I do feel guilty that the purpose of this day often goes unnoticed. You make a wonderful point!

Wow, that's so sad... that most Veterans don't even get today off. :(

Anyhoo, enjoy your day!
