Today Master Keegan had his nine month visit. It seems like we were just at the doctor's office. Oh yeah, we were. You know by now how these appointments aren't exactly on schedule, so he is really 9 1/2 months at this point. He is 30 inches long and 20 lbs. 2 oz. Kind of lighter than I thought but he probably has lost weight over the past week and a half. He hasn't wanted any solid food. His ear infection is significantly better and we were able to get a flu shot. I shudder to think of that kid getting the flu after all the other stuff from daycare. I was nervous about whether we'd get one with the shortage. But they had plenty allotted for babies. The state is actually issuing more today. I already knew that. One of the perks of working for the Health Department.
So our little guy is not so little and has been outside of my body longer than he was inside. So in theory I should be back to normal. In theory. I asked the doc about the sleeping issues and he had some advice. I am staying away from the crying it out approach. I just don't think that will ever work with this particular baby. But after we get all the sickness and daycare transitioning out of our system I hope we can return to before. You know, me in my bed and him in his. Not that I don't enjoy him curled up against me all night. When I get up to pee the little devil steals my spot and then cries when I try to reclaim my pillow. Guess he figured out that he is king of the house.

WTG baby Keegan! Sounds like he's growing like a champ. Glad he got that flu shot. Jakey got his last week, too. About the sleeping thing... continue to be hopeful but don't expect it to change anytime soon! :)
