Netflix Addict

Let me recommend three movies from off the beaten path:

The Station Agent, you've got to love a main character named Finbar (which was our original name for a baby before we decided "Keegan" would result in fewer playground fights).

Pieces of April, Katie Holmes as you've never seen her, plus a cameo by Sisqo (of the "Thong Song" fame). It's an odd little film and I love odd. I can't remember how it got on my queue.

The Other Side of Heaven This will surprise you because it is a film involving a Mormon doing his missionary work. If you know anything about me, you should know that I am not big into organized religion. But it is a beautiful film and an interesting true story. I admire people who have that much faith, in anything. This got on my list because Anne Hathaway is in it and frankly I loved the Princess Diaries. But something else kept haunting me about the lead actor, Christopher Gorham. Turns out he played parts on several of my favorite shows including, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Felicity, "Party of Five" and most recently on "Medical Investigation."
