What? I Say What?

We were not able to attend our first swimming lesson this past weekend. Keegan was fine, I was awful. I even packed the bag and set the alarm for 6 am thinking postively. But each day my cold has gotten worse.
How did my 7 1/2 month baby kick this thing that is the plague of my existence? I have given up on medication as it did no good for my symptoms and only made me feel spacey. I don't like spacey.
Now I am looking forward to breathing out of both nostrils, hearing out of my left ear and getting my voice back. I don't get that sexy husky deal like Erika when she is sick. Mine is more reminiscent of a two pack a day, female long haul trucker. Yummy.
I had decided that if I wasn't taking a turn for the better today, then I was going to the doctor's. I need two days for the antibiotics to kick in before my interview on Thurs. But I woke up no worse and maybe even a little better. So I am hoping this thing is on it's way out. Tomorrow I hope to have enough energy to pick out my interview outfit and do a little research. Did I mention that I am going in front of a panel and that they are asking me questions? Questions about a topic I have no experience with? I have sites bookmarked and now I need to go back and read them and hopefully retain the information. I am confident that I can do it, but I need to be healthy to really perform well.
I have to get back to Keegan. He has discovered all kinds of fun. Like how delicious dog food is and how to pull himself up using the coffee table bumper.
