Erika has a post about teachers' comments on student's report cards. I am hoping they aren't real. I can't imagine that many bitter, insensitive people in the teaching profession. But I'm naive like that.
Not that I didn't have my share of run-ins. Atleast written comments are somewhat private. I had teacher once tell me that I had "diarrhea of the mouth." She said it out loud and in front of the whole class. I was mortified and will obviously never forget. So what if it was true.

Usually us teacher-types don't really think that way about students...I would never write (or say) any of those comments on a report card or when in a parent conference...but evil thoughts do creep into my brain sometimes, although I would never share them. :)
