That's right. One year ago today they put two embryos inside me. One of them clung for dear life and became Keegan.

(Not actually my embryo since we didn't have a picture.)
May 17 will always be special to me. Especially when Keegan some day asks, "where do babies come from?"
Well dear, your mommy and a daddy fell in love and got married. Then they decided to express their love by creating a family. So they drove back and forth two hours each way to the hospital for several months. Then mommy gave herself shots. Finally that intimate moment came in a dimly lit room with mommy, daddy, two nurses, an ultrasound technician, the reproductive endocrinologist and two embryologists. And that's how you got to grow inside mommy until you were ready to come out.
Anyone know where I can get a children's book like that with pictures for him? I am sure by that time someone will have written one.
