Post Partum Checkup

I saw my midwife today for my post birth checkup. It's been 18 days. Freakin amazing. I thought it would include a physical but instaed we just talked. Which worked out well because Keegan was hungry. So I nonchalantly fed him while we chatted. I lost 24 pounds since delivery. I was sure I had lost weight since even my regular clothes are baggy. Don't be fooled I have the post baby belly happening. It's not like I am swimsuit material here.
I will see her again in four weeks for a physical exam. Just as well because I am still sensitive in that area (mentally). She asked me about birth control and I almost laughed. Trust me, sex is the last thing on my mind. I am sure that will change but for now I feel totally utilitarian. What baby wants, baby gets. She signed my release to participate in exercise classes. Mommy & Me starts next week.
