Veteran's Day

Today marks the 50th Anniversary of Veteran's Day.

Much gratitude to my Daddy and all the other mommies and daddies who serve/ed our country under great personal risk. My Dad didn't even know my brother was born for three days because that is how long it took the Red Cross to find and notify him. Today there are babies and kids growing up without a parent who is serving in Iraq.
Much love and thanks to the families of veterans who support them and send the letters and care packages all over the world. Thanks for letting them know that they are missed and what they are doing matters.
Whether you agree with our military missions or not, those people serving in our armed forces deserve to be honored.
May there be peace soon and may they all come home safe.
