Beloved friends it is time to send all your protection vibes to my aunt & uncle in San Diego. The fires are incredibly close to their home. Ash and smoke are everywhere. The situation is so serious that schools and workplaces have been closed. My aunt & cousins have bags and precious items (including numerous pet carriers) staged by the front door. They are ready to evacuate at a moment's notice. Several friends have lost their homes and they themselves live on the side of a canyon. The winds have died down somewhat, so here's hoping no more loss of life or destruction of property occurs. I cannot believe that some of the fires were set intentionally. That is the real tragedy.
