Addendum to the previous entry:
The coolest part was actually when I got home. Tom had cleaned most of the house and throw out all the junk mail collecting on the kitchen counters. It was so nice to come home tired to such a beautiful sight. I was pooped so I tried to nap but couldn't sleep for more than a half hour.
This evening our friend Ziell came over and cooked for us. Yummy Malaysian Lo Mein and grilled chicken. She promised to talk me through the recipes. The best part is she makes a great buddy for Tom. They shot hoops for fifty cents a win and now they are playing video games. I don't have the patience but they've been playing for hours. I like to cheer for her because it annoys Tom. I told him I always try to support the woman in a competition. But now I think my second wind has about run out and it's time for sleepy.
Somewhere out there Erika is hosting a slumber party with a bunch of teen girls. I'm guessing she knows the meaning of "bone tired" right about now.
