Thanks Buzz for the tip on sponsoring Statia.

I never mention it, but my mom has Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and has been doing amazing since she was diagnosed over a decade ago. This is a cause very close to my heart. I remember holding her hand while they did her spinal tap to check her spinal fluid. That's the crazy thing about MS, there is not definitive diagnosis, they just have to rule everything else out. This means alot of tests and alot of scary moments of not knowing why your body is betraying you. And then for the rest of your life you never know when you could wake up and not be able to do things you could do the day before. My mom just started giving herself injections to hopefully slow the progression of the disease. Ironically she started right as I was finishing my fertility shots for IVF. I was able to give her tips on ice packs and less painful injection sites. Everyone with MS has a different experience with the disease. But they wake up every day and they try to take good care of themselves and they keep making plans for the future. Talk about courage.
So even though I don't have a job right now I scraped up something to donate to Statia. See if you have a little something lying around yourself.
