Finishing this dish with lime zest and juice brightens its rich flavors.

Things I Learned

I learned a couple of things this week.

1. No matter how tired and crappy you feel. There is always someone having a worse time. Scrape off the self-pity to reach out and help them smile.

2. I should blog earlier in the day because no matter if I've had my nap. I still run out of steam around 8pm.

3. Apparently, even if you know the moment of conception you still add two weeks to your pregnancy. So magically today I am seven weeks instead of the five weeks I thought I was. I don't know exactly how it works but you'll get no argument from me.

wouldn't be easier to just take two weeks off the end? Instead of delivering on week 40 (another puzzle...shouldn't it be 36?), you deliver onthe 38th week...

Hahaha, I was SO confused for at least the first three months of my pg. I dated all sorts of things wrong (my "10" week picture was really 11, and then at one point I was 2 weeks ahead in my little brain... oy) At some point you just give up and smile and say "oh, I'm somewhere around month so-and-so" - it's not because you're trying to be vague, it's because it's just too confusing to count! :) I'm glad you're doing well and happy!! If you find that you're too tired to do ANYTHING, all day, every day for about the first 16 weeks - it's completely normal. Don't fret, it takes too much energy! :) *hugs*
