So last week when I got my blood test results I used a home pregnancy test anyway. I wanted to finally see two lines appear. So I left the test which Tom & I affectionately refer to as "the pee stick" on the bathroom counter. It is still there. Tom keeps asking me when I am going to throw it out. I patiently explain that I need to keep reminding myself that I am pregnant. Besides I put it on my side next to my sink. And I am sure all of the actual urine has evaporated by now. Eeew. That is kind of gross. But you know what? I don't care. I'm keeping it as long as I wanna.

I still have mine. I carried it around in my purse for a month and a half. I actually plan on putting it in a keepsake baby box. I figure that the actual urine is long since harmless! And it's proof, darnit! :)
*lol* Trust me, it's normal... at least I hope so because I still have 2 out of 3 (yes, I took 3!!!) in my medicine cabinet :)
Am so happy for you!!!!!!!! From what I've read on your site you have really wanted a baby and from the descriptions of your efforts. I know you deserve this and so much more. Congrats!!!!!!!!!

I have been checking here like crazy wishing and hoping you would be sharing some happy pregnant news with all of us and now you have!!! YEAH!!! I am so happy for you and your hubby!!
you should save it! it will be a wonderful memory for baby later on! :)
I still have the +hpt from my daughter. She was MY little miracle IVF baby (cycle #1 for me too!) and I saved absolutely everything. Every single follicle u/s, our protocol paperwork, the calendar where I marked a big X every day as we got closer to our beta.
I'm pregnant again and I'm sure I'll save the many hpt's I took... and the calendar where I wrote down each beta result... and that first fuzzy ultrasound that proved there was a real live baby in there.
Forgot to say congratulations!!!!
awww, that's so cute. I'd totally hold on to that little sucker and maybe make a little memory box or something later on.
I still have both of mine :-) Congrats!!!
I still have both of my tests sitting on the counter in the batheroom too! I'm due the end of January-early February. Isn't it amazing?
