Wow it has been over 24 hours since I touched a computer. This time it was actually by choice. I was the host of this month's Cooking Light supper club. I was busy all weekend cleaning and finishing little house projects. Not like we haven't lived here since last July.
I picked an Asian theme (just in time for Cambodian New Year).
The menu was:
Vegetable Dumplings
Stir Fry Broccoli w/cashews
Moo Shu Chicken
Lort Cha (Pork w/ noodles)
New Year's Rice Cake
My mom came to help me hostess and stopped by her favorite Chinese restaurant. So everything looked cute with Zodiac placemats, chopsticks and fortune cookies. I even tried my first Saki, which I assume is an acquired taste. It was so fun hostessing and now I have wait another 10 months until it is my turn again. Maybe by then I will have finally put up curtains.
