80 Million Bees

This story is so sad. He was probably the beekeeper and now all of his bees are lost too. In my non-expert opinion it looks like he was either selling the hives or transporting them to do pollination. Tom sent me this link from a guy at work. He was afraid they were my bees. But mine should be safely tucked away in their hives in Georgia.

You seem to know alot about bees, so I have a question for ya..........Are bumblebees dangerous? I mean the other day, I came home, had 3 of my 4 kids with and we couldn't get out the damn van because a bumblebee was hovering over the wondshield waiting for us to get out (or so it seems) Finally we were able to get out but he stayed there for the longest time. So are they worse than regular ole bees as for stinging and are their intentions to sting someone or just scare them away? We have alot around here and they freak me out a bit......

I have two or more big bumble bees that have made a home in the wood of my deck. They are so cool .I saw one today that had its legs full of gold! When I come out the left bee checks me out and flyies everywhere Today I met the right bee and her ...Husband? I like ther company. I guess they might eat the wood of the deck but I suppose that iscovered by homeowners..in the meantime I will enjoy their magnificance!!
