We finally got our email back yesterday. I had given up hope. I put in one last call and they said it would take 2 more hours. She told me they had a whole new process to fix problems they were really excited about. I told her they should find a way not to have problems in the first place. She was less excited about that concept.
I was listening to "On the Media" on NPR today. They were discussing the controversy surrounding CBS's new reality series. Apparently they are on an intensive search in Arkansa, Kentucky and West Virgina for a rural family. They are doing a reality version of "Beverly Hillbillies". Which would involve literally moving the entire family into a mansion in the 90210 zip code. Needless to say this has upset the aforementioned rural communities. They feel the show will exploit and ridicule poor people. I couldn't help but feel a little nauseous myself. It reminded me of that news story about the guys caught paying homeless people to do stupid tricks on film.
