Perspective

I was having such a good day until I left work. I was going home after dropping off one of our teens and some guy totally almost drove into me. After I got home I was heading downstairs to ask Tom to bring up paper towels and I fell down the last two steps. Tom raced up to find me on the floor. Fortunately I landed on my well padded butt. But I must have pulled a muscle because my back hurts now. Later I was knocking icicles down in case they impaled the dogs. A huge one slipped from my grasp and took out the outside light fixture. Funny thing about ice, it looks just like glass and vice versa. So I swept into the snow and I'll sort it out come Spring. Did I mention how I have managed to break all ten of my usually maintenance free fingernails just in time for Erika's wedding? Lucky me. I'm really working to stay peppy here. I'm also not taking any of these incidents too seriously. So miniscule in the grand scheme of things. Besides who can be grumpy when in four days I get to watch Erika & Jay exchange vows?
