Gotcha with the title didn't I?
I am sitting here with rapt attention on my new monitor. Yes the old one finally died. We had all these grand visions of getting a big, beautiful flat panel. Then the Christmas credit card bill came. Ouch! So we got a regular one but splurged for a 19-inch to feel better. Tom spent yesterday assembling out new L-shaped computer desk so we have plenty of room. I feel like I am at the command center of a spaceship.
Erika is gone and I am jealous of her lovely island vacation honeymoon. I think that is the best part of the whole wedding, besides finally being married. I know everyone at work will be watching to see how I survive without her. I am guessing I will spend alot of time making snide comments and muttering to myself.
I joked about showing up on St. Lucia and nonchalantly pulling up my beach chair, but I feel certain that Jay would kill me. Plus Tom just might notice my absence at home. Oh well, I'll just muddle through and cling to Sue & Jess for support.
