Dirk pointed this article out to me a few minutes ago. It was reprinted in the Opinion page of our local paper. To say I was offended and outraged is an understatement. As someone that works with teens I feel that equating a teenage boy with a loaded gun is beyond ridiculous. How are we supposed to teach them accountability and responsibility when they are being excused for their actions due to hormones? And how about the part where she suggest that Daddy teach the girls about the rules of sexual behavior. What planet does she live on? If parents were able to have frank, honest discussions about sex with their kids we wouldn't have such astronomical pregnancy and STD rates. Nevermind when she accuses girls of being stupid. She ends the article by making it seem like there is a national conspiracy against men.
