Maid In The Shade

My work day flew by. I had several back to back meetings and then I got to go to the movies. For work. How cool is that? It was to celebrate the last day of our tutoring & mentoring program. I'm siiting there surrounded by our kids, snarfing down popcorn, watching J-Lo try to act and I realize, "wow, my job is so cool." Then I remembered crazy grant deadlines and funding issues and I conceded it isn't all fun & games. But it is so worth it. Alot of people say they don't know someone that loves what they do. Well brothers & sisters you're lookin at one. It pretty much makes up for the low pay and weird hours. Oh and having to sit through "Maid In Manhattan." Okay it wasn't that bad, but by all means people DON'T pay full price. This one has bargain matinee written all over it.
