So on my ride home I decided to call Andra since I haven't seen her since the wedding. She is settling into married life and looking for a job. Anyone in the DC area need a good lawyer? Well after catching up on all the news she tells me of the upcoming family addition. No I'm not talking babies here, I'm talking a canine addition. They are on the waitlist for a Labradoodle puppy. Yeah, I said Labradoodle. I am crying from laughter as she tries to explain the merits of half Lab/half Poodle (see pics). Sure I admit it I am anti-poodle. I'm more the hearty dog type. So in New Zealand some clever couple took mutts and have started a breeding program to make more mutts. Strange. I guess the attraction is they are hypo-allergenic, which is Andra's reasoning. I prefer the animal rescue, not sure what you're getting, surprise when they grow up program. It's more exciting for me and I swear they know you saved and they love you more for it.
