A Flurry Of Activity

The reason I have been quiet of late is that Tom's parents arrived yesterday. So we were crazy busy getting ready for the arrival. Now we are crazy busy keeping up with them. Their visits help us get so much stuff accomplished. Last night after dinner we played Uno Attack. They bought it and brought it up with them. Instead of drawing from the pile you push a buttton and cards shoot out. Tom must of pressed it 11 times and nothing came out. He is so lucky with that stuff. The rest of us had so many cards we had to split hands because we couldn't hold them all. Needless to say, he won. It was so fun to watch everyone's face as they pressed the button and waited to get hit.

Today we took them to the Kittery Maine Outlets to look around. I got a cute sweater and 2 pairs of yoga pants. I also got more presents off my list. I only have two more left. I hate shopping early. All of my fun comes from being out and about searching with all the rest of the holiday crowd. Any other time of the year I'd hate that. Tomorrow we are going to pick up our Honeybaked ham and go to yet another mall. I am so excited that I don't have to go back to work until Fri. But I do miss my co-workers. During holiday weeks we keep the center open, but have the teens help us work on projects. Any kid that helps gets to go on a fieldtrip afterwards. Erika & I are doing the trip next week. We joked about going skating in Boston but she is afraid she'll break her ankle for the wedding. I see she is still worried about this.
