Morning After

Last night's Halloween Jam was a success and a lot more of our kids came in costume this year. I was a pink and gold Fairy Godmother complete with wings, tiara and wand. (I had so much fun granting wishes and tapping people on the head.)

I was sooo tired when I got home and went straight to bed. So today I had to wash the glitter out of my sheets and even Tom was sparklely this morning. He had to work so I vegged. Then we went off to the mall because I need black velvet shoes for the wedding next weekend.

I also needed some new clothes because I am seeing old friends and old college classmates. You know how you want to look good to show you're improving with age. Plus they are all urban dwellers and sometimes I felt like the "country mouse" around them.
